Z-242 / Z-143 / Z-142C training aircraft

The Zlín family of basic training aircraft offers powerful, reliable, and robustly built aircraft. Their maintenance is simple and cost-effective, and the aircraft comply with FAR 23 standards. The Zlín 143L and Zlín 242L are designed to meet the most demanding private, commercial, and military requirements, proving to be among the most enjoyable and fun aircraft you will ever own.

Zlín aircraft are single-engine, low-wing, cantilever monoplanes with all-metal construction, a fixed tricycle landing gear, and a nose wheel. The side-by-side seating arrangement provides all occupants with excellent visibility from the cockpit. The aircraft are powered by Textron Lycoming piston engines, with the exception of the Z-142C, which is powered by the LOM M337AK engine.

The Z-242 / Z-143 / Z-142 aircraft are designed for basic and advanced training, aerobatic practice, VFR and IFR flight training, recreational and touring flights, and use as tow aircraft.
